David James Austin is a QLD based Film, TV & Theatre Actor. David graduated from New York Film Academy, with an Advanced Diploma of Acting for Film in 2015.
David has worked extensively within the film industry, beginning as an extra on many big budget Hollywood films, later moving to lead roles in Award winning Short films. David has performed in both lead and ensemble roles within Theatre Productions, such as “Allen” (2016) at HOTA – Home of the Arts, where he played four separate characters, “Les Miserables” (2017) and in (2018) he was lead Actor ‘Young Kipps’ in the Sold-out Season, of The Woman in Black at HOTA. In 2019 David was cast in two brilliant independent Films, Bloodline and An Unconventional Love, both hitting the World Film Festival Circuit in 2020.
Over the last three years David has co-written and developed (alongside his mother) a TVS Concept Pilot, “How to Survive the Apocalypse with Style” of which he is one of two lead characters. David is continuing to develop further episodes in this series with the aim of pitching to a network. David was also the proud recipient of the 2019 ASIN BEST ACTOR Award for our Short Film “Beautiful Scars”.
End of 2019 David signed with a NZ based Agent BGT. Starting 2020, David commenced his Twitch Chanel “GodlikeGoose” where he has built an Audience following another passion of his, Gaming. David has found streaming to be another great platform to utilize his voice acting & singing talents. Nov 2020, David was cast in a supporting Role in a Short Film Production “Crossway” by Eastmount Studios.
2020, David worked at table reads & rehearsing for over a year, for an Indie Feature Film “Code Noir” in a lead role. Nov 2020, David was cast in a fun supporting Role JULIAN, in a Short Film Production “Crossway”.
2021, David has been awarded a Certificate of Highest Achievement for Best Supporting Actor 2020, for an Award winning Short titled “An Unconventional Love” in the ASIN Awards. David has also just completed a supporting role as a waiter in the “Destined to Fail” Short and has been cast to present and interview a Lost Boy in July, for an upcoming Documentary, filmed in Queensland.
